Gurugram: A five-year-old girl allegedly raped and killed on Sunday by his neighbor in a village under the jurisdiction of the Bhondsi police station.
Minor belongs to the family of migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh, who have worked in Gurugram for the past seven years.
The defendant is also a migrant worker.
The incident occurred when Minor’s father was working and their wives and three children – the two sons and girls – were at home.
The defendant allegedly visited their home and took the girl with the pretext of buying something to eat.
When the child did not return for hours, his mother told her husband and went looking for him.
The girl was found unconscious in the field along with the defendant, who immediately fled.
The child was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
A pine has been listed under Section 302 (punishment for murder), 376 (2) (rape) IPC and the relevant part of ACT Pocso and ACT SC / ST.
The defendant was arrested.
Post-Mortem the girl will be done on Monday, police said.
