New Delhi: National Education Policy 2020 aims to promote India as a global study goal and make India a Vishwa teacher, said the foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Friday.
Shringla’s statement came when talking with a diplomatic written constitution organized by Chandigarh University.
The event was also handled by the Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar and Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan.

“As a manufacturer and incubator of knowledge and systems, India is always open to sharing its learning with other countries,” added the foreign secretary.
In his speech, Shringla said that more than 50,000 students from 164 countries were currently studying in India.
“We hope this number will increase in the coming years.
NEP aims to promote India as a global goal for students by providing premium education at affordable costs,” said the foreign secretary.
Attention to India’s efforts in the field of global education, Shringla also said that “the external ministry constantly strives to build a stronger bridge between India and institutional institutions and global education institutions”.
Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education and Minister of Skills and Entrepreneurship Development, also handled the meeting.
Overcoming the meeting, Pradhan talked about the strength attached in India as the center of world knowledge and the role of education in forming an Indian place in the post-covid new world order, a statement from the Ministry of Education said.
“The minister describes the vision for the Indian education system and said that it enables policy structures in the form of 2020 national education policies, quality education institutions, community inclusiveness with multiculturalism and focus on innovation, entrepreneurship and internationalization will encourage the Indian education system to the height of” the statement said.
During the event, S Jaishankar also underlined the role of education in the knowledge economy and said that the search for education was also a strong incentive for Indians to go abroad and have laid the foundation for strong state bonds throughout the world.

More than one million Indian students study abroad and by doing that they have laid the foundation for strong relationships in many geography,” said Eam Jaisanhankar in a Video.
