DISPUR: Chairman of the Minister Dr.
Himanta Buswa Sarma on Friday said that the state government will implement new education policies (NEP) from April 1, 2022, where all secondary schools will be increased to senior high school.
He said that this process will be completed at the end of March next year.

He also distributed promises to 767 candidates in various directorates of the Ministry of Education in Srimanta Sankardev Kalashetra in Guwahati.
Of the 767 candidates, 616 applicants are designated under the Directorate of Basic Education, 32, under the Secondary Education Directorate.
113 nominations appointed under the Higher Education Directorate and six were selected under the Directorate of Council of Research and Education Training.
