Kathmandu: Head of Nepal General Prabhu Army Ram Sharma on Tuesday left for New Delhi for a four-day visit to India at the official invitation General Mukund Naravane.

Born on January 5, 1964, in Kathmandu, General Sharma was a graduate of the Nepal Army Academy, which was assigned to Battalion Purano Gorakh, one of the oldest infantry battalions in the Nepal Army.
He was assigned to the Nepal Army as the second lieutenant in 1984.
He completed the Command and Staff Course from Nepal Army War College (1988-89) and Command Official Course and Command (1996-97) Nepal.
