Kathmandu: The Nepal Election Commission is preparing for the medium-term election in November despite uncertainty over polls because the petition is delayed in the Supreme Court against the dissolution of the House of Representatives, according to a media report.
On the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oil, President Bidya Devi Bhandari dissolved the house lower for the second time in five months on May 22 and announced the selap election on November 12 and November 19.

Officials in the body of the election said that even though the case of the dissolution of the house was challenged at the Supreme Court, the Commission could not say not to hold elections.
The Commission is currently preparing specifications for more than 50 types of items to be obtained.
Some items planning by the body of the selection are sound box stickers, identity cards, book polls, security seals, rubber stamps, voting stamps, markers, pad stamps and huts, photocopying papers; Glue sticks, stapler machines, scales and scissors and pens.
“In addition to these ingredients, we will also carry out medical items remember the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Komal Dhamala, an assistant spokesman at the commission.
The Commission also updated the voter list in various districts.
“More voters will be added for the election in November,” Dhamala said.
According to him, there will be around 22,000 voting centers for future elections.
Considering health risks because Covid-19, the Commission also prepares health and safety guidelines to make the electoral process safer.
Some health officials have projected that the third wave of Covid-19 can hit the state around the same time when the selection has been planned.
Officials at the Election Agency recognized the risks and planned various steps not to change the selection into a super-spreader event.
“Through the code of ethics, we can limit the participation of people in the political party assembly,” Dhamala said.
While the commission made logistics preparation, the political situation continued to remain fragile because it held elections.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is likely to graduate the verdict in the case of the Dissolution of the House of Representatives next week because the applicant and the defendant have concluded their arguments, MyRepublica reported.
About 30 writing petitions have been submitted against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
Oil has given an ultimatum to the Madhav Kumar-LED faction to attract signatures in the writing petition submitted at the Supreme Court demanding the recovery of the House of Representatives and the appointment of the President of the Nepali Sher Bahadur Deuba as Prime Minister.
Nepal plunged into the political crisis on December 20 last year after President Bhandari dissolved home and announced new elections on April 30 and May 10 on the recommendation of the Prime Minister of Oil, in the midst of the upheaval of the powerful Nepalese Communist Party (NCP).
In February, the Puncak Court returned a suspended representative council, in a setback to combat the Prime Minister of Oil who was preparing for a poll.
Oil repeatedly defended his move to dissolve the House of Representatives, said some of his party leaders tried to form a “parallel government”.
