Nepal & India signed the MoU about recognizing Covid vaccination certificates

Kathmandu: India and Nepal on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding for reciprocal recognition of Covid vaccination certificates to significantly alleviate travel misery for people who are fully vaccinated from two neighboring countries.
The Indian Ambassador to Vinay Nepal M Kwatra signed the MoU with the Ministry of Health and Population Nepal Secretary Roshan Pokhrel at a ceremony held at the Ministry office in Kathmandu, according to a press release issued by the Indian Embassy here.
Health Minister Virodh Khatiwada was also present at the event.
Mou, between the Ministry of Health from the two countries, is an important step in the journey of travel for vaccinated travelers in Covid-19 fully in both countries, he said.
