Nepal PM Sher Bahadur Deuba will look for a sound of trust in parliament

Kathmandu: New Prime Minister Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba will face the vote of the belief in a lower parliamentary house on Sunday, according to media reports.

The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) and the Yadav Party’s upendra fraction Yadav Janata Janata Samajwadi has decided to vote in supporting Deuba during the vote of trust.
Former Prime Minister and Senior Communist Party Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninis) Jhalanath Khanal, who was undergoing treatment at a hospital in New Delhi, has issued a statement, asking his party parliament to choose Deuba.
In the 275 member house, where 271 votes will be counted, Deuba must collect at least 136 votes to win the trust of parliament.
The failure to win the voice belief will lead to the dissolution of the house, and the election will be held within six months.
At home under Parliament, the powerful Nepal Congress (NC) has 61 members while the CPN coalition partner (Maoist Center) has 48 members, not including Sapkota speakers.
The main opposition of the CPN-UML, which is an oil party, has 121 members at home down, JSP has 32 members and three other suburban parties each have members.
There are independent parliamentarians too.
A total of 26 members of the UML-owned parliament, close to Madhav Nepal, have supported Deuba when he risked the claim for the Premiership based on Article 76 (5) of the Constitution.
Deuba, appointed as Prime Minister in accordance with Article 76 (5) with the support of the UML Nepal Faction and JSV JSV faction, must be supported by these factions to win the voice of trust.
