New Delhi: Nepal Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is likely to visit India in the second week of January, according to government sources.
This will be his first visit to India since assuming the office earlier this year.
Besides visiting Delhi, Deuba also tends to participate in a lively Gujarat Summit.
Deuba the last to meet with his partner India Narendra Modi at Glasgow last month on the sidelines of the COP26 summit.
Both of them then discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation included in the context of sustainable efforts to pandemic Covid-19.
They also noted “excellent cooperation” between India and Nepal during a pandemic, especially through the supply of vaccines, medicines and medical equipment from India to Nepal and by ensuring the flow of goods freely at all borders.
Besides Modi, Deuba will meet with several other senior Indian politicians, according to Nepalese media reports.
