Nepal’s Supreme Court returns parliament; ordered new prime ministers to be appointed

Kathmandu: The Supreme Court of Nepal on Monday returned his parliament, which was dissolved by the prime minister, K.P.
Sharma, oil in May, and ordered his rival, Sher Bahadur deuba, was appointed as Prime Minister.
This step provides a big blow to Oil, which cannot collect the majority at the House of Representatives and has tried force new elections by dissolving parliament on May 22.
Oil steps have triggered a fresh constitutional crisis in the Himalayas and it marked their second efforts to dissolve the parliament in the past few months after the initial efforts in December 2020, after divisions in his party, was reversed by the Supreme Court in February.
After the Nepalese parliament was dissolved, oil lost voting on May 10.
Before his rival could risk the claim, he suggested President Nepal, Bidya Devi Bhandari, to dissolve the parliament, saying that he also could not collect a majority and form a new government.
The opposition refused the move and vowed to challenge him.
On Monday, the Supreme Court official, Debendra Dhakal, said the court had ordered a parliament configured in seven days.
“This also ordered that Sher Bahadur Deuba was appointed as prime minister within two days,” Dhakal told Reuters.
