New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that India will achieve the target of net carbon zero emissions in 2070 when he put the country’s climate action plan.
Overcoming the COP26 Climate Change Summit in Glasgow, the Prime Minister emphasizes collective battles by countries to overcome the adverse effects of climate change and call for creating a ‘lifestyle’ global mission.

1BY 2030 commitment, India will increase its non-fossil capacity to 500 gigawatt.
2BY 2030 commitment, India will meet 50 percent of its energy needs with renewable energy.
3India commitment will reduce one billion tons of total carbon emissions that are projected between now and 2030.
The commitment of 4BY 2030, India will reduce the intensity of its economic carbon to less than 45%.
The 5India commitment will reach the target of net zero emissions in 2070.
The climate change at India’s India’s policy center in the ‘high-level segment for the head of state and the government’ at the UN COP26 took place in Glasgow, England, the Prime Minister Modi said that India worked very hard to deal with problems related to climate change.
He said that India put climate change at the center of policy making.
The Prime Minister said India’s contribution to climate change mitigation was far beyond his role in emissions.
Warning that climate change is a major threat to the existence of many developing countries, Prime Minister asks the nation to take a big step to save the world of the impact of global warming.
“This is the need for hours and will prove the relevance of this platform.
I hope the decision taken in Glasgow will save the future of our next generation,” said Prime Minister.
Calling lifestyle changes, Modi said that the choice of environmentally conscious lifestyles can walk far in handling climate change.
He urged to make ‘lifestyle for the global mission environment.
The Prime Minister stressed that developed countries must meet $ 1 trillion promised as climate financing, saying this must be tracked in the same way as climate mitigation.
“India expects developed countries to generate $ 1 trillion as climate financing as soon as possible.
When we track the progress of climate mitigation, we also have to track climate finance.
Justice will be truly served if the pressure is placed in countries that have not lived.
