New Delhi: The statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will be installed at the Indian gate in what marks the recognition of legendary fighter fittings that have lured the country with their determination to release it from English work.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced that he would reveal the statue of Bose Hologram, Netaji to his admirers legion, in the same place on his birthday on January 23.
The statue, made of black granite from Telangana, will be placed in the canopy at the Indian gate in August this year, TOI has learned.
Visitors will be able to see a hologram statue only at night.
Once installed, Statue Grand will be clearly visible from Raisina Hill.
“When the entire nation marked the 125th birth alert from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, I was happy to share that the big statue, made of granite, would be installed at the Indian gate.
This will be a symbol of Indian debt to Him,” Modi tweeted, marking the model statue.
The government’s sources said the decision to honor Bose moved by India to “reclaim history” when the canopy had performed the statue of the King of England George V, which was removed and shifted in 1968 to the Coronation Park in Burari in Delhi.
Honor to Netaji is expected to walk far to realize the injuries of the worshipers who have been sick that Freedom Fighter has denied recognition because of him.
