New appointments Wake up Older Vishwamitri row

Vadodara: The matter of encroachments about Vishwamitri river in Sama region of town has taken an interesting turn with fresh appointments in the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC).
Last week, Vadodara collector Shalini Agarwal was appointed as the VMC commissioner and that she chose control on Monday.
On precisely the identical afternoon, the nation Congress party appointed Ami Ravat since the chief of this opposition party in the VMC’s elected wing.
Ravat was pursuing the problem of encroachments about Vishwamitri river and the problem was raised with Agarwal.
Critics of the district collectorate had subsequently submitted a report and based on Ravat, ” the report conducted throughout the tenure of Agarwal clearly said that a wall close to the Mangal Pandey Road at Sama was on government property.
It had been assembled without consent and will block water if there’s high circulation, the record had said.
Ravat, on Monday, composed to Agarwal saying that the record had stated that it had been VMC’s duty to raze that the encroachment.
Now Agarwal is in the helm of both VMC and has been well versed with the matter, Ravat required the encroachments must be removed along with legal actions needs to be taken against those responsible.
