New cases, death in all eight Taluk Mysuru

There was no Covid death in all eight marks in Mysuru District on Sunday, while new cases had fallen into the digit with three taluk reported the Nile case on weekends.
Officials link a decline to high vaccination coverage.
Two talents have even vercated more people than the target population.
The district reported 13 deaths in the first 12 days of September.
HD Kote, Sargur, Hunsur, Kr Nagar, Nagar, Periyapatna, T Narasipur and Mysuru Taluk reported the death of the Nile on Sunday.
MySuru ranks second after Bengaluru Urban in terms of cumulative cases and death in Karnataka.
As on Sunday (September 12), this district has a cumulative total of almost 1.8 lakh cases and 2,375 deaths.
It has around 700 active cases.
T Narasipur can be the first free covid net because only five active cases are left.
Nanjangud, who reported the first cluster outbreak in the district was almost at the beginning of the pandemic, now only has 27 active cases.
Dr KH Prasad, district health workers, said vaccination not only helped curb the spread of the virus but also prevented death.
About 90% of the target population in each taluk has received the first dose of vaccines and about 60% fully vaccinated.
MySuru City has the highest vaccination coverage – 96% – fighting 85% to 90% in six marks.
KR Nagar and Mysore Rural (108%) Taluk has exceeded their target.
Dr.
T Shivaprasad, district surveillance officers, said: “I begged all residents to be fully vaccinated because it would help overcome covid effectively.
While the case has fallen, we will continue to test, track and treat aggressively.”
