Gurgaon: City reported 1,670 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday.
The number is below 2,000 signs after a 19-day gap – on January 8, 1,450 people have tested the virus positive.
However, January, so far has seen a maximum case (59, 978) in one month since the pandemic began.
The previous high was during the second wave in April last year, when 59, 921 cases were reported, followed by 57,012 in May.
Before this, the maximum case was reported in November 2020 (19,665) during the first wave.
Thursday, the daily peposititivity level witnessed a decline from 23% a day before 21.6.
The city witnessed the peak in front of January 21, when it stands at 34%.
Gurgaon has 9,288 current active cases, where 9,119 is in house isolation and 169 in the hospital.
There are no cases of active omicron at this time.
As many as 3,177 Covid patients were restored on Thursday, while 7,730 tests were carried out.
The city also reported three Covid deaths again on that day.
The first patient was a man who was fully vaccinated by 75 years suffering from cancer.
After undergoing chemotherapy, patients were hospitalized on January 22 with fever and general weaknesses.
He was found covid-positive and given fluid IV, antifungal drugs and antibiotics, oxygen support and other supporting steps.
He then uses invasive ventilation with inotropic support.
The doctor said he died of a heart attack on Thursday.
The second patient, a 79-year-old man with prostate cancer, was hospitalized on January 24 with fever, difficulty breathing, coughing and decreased urine output.
He was given iv liquid, antibiotics, oxygen support and other supporting steps.

The third patient was a 72-year-old man who suffered from Parkinson’s disease and the heart.
