Kolkata: Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) plans to involve consultants to prepare an environmental impact assessment and end (EIA) and Integrated Environmental Management Plan (IEMP) to pass bypass-new flyovers, based on the final proposed structure.

Officials said that even though the proposed flyover environment reports were prepared based on previous alignment proposals, consultants need to prepare modified reports that will contain complete studies in accordance with the observation of the National Wet Land Committee under the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change Unions.
