Greater Noida: Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) has decided to offer a higher floor area ratio and land coverage from its plot to companies interested in preparing data centers.officials say authority will not only increase far from 2 to 3., but Also allows 60% of land coverage to 40% earlier.
They said Yeida would allow 40-50% to increase land use from the Yamuna toll road rather than what is offered to other industrial units.
The ratio of the 2nd floor area means that allotte can build 2,000 square meters of vertically floor space more than 1,000 SQMT plot.Arvind Kumar, Head of the Additional School (Industrial Development) and Chairman of Yeida, said the state government on September 24 last year frame the policy for companies preparing Data center and tweaked several major rules.
The government is ready to offer up to 7% of 10 years of capital subsidies, interest subsidies for seven years, completing the release of CA CAT and the first 10-year electrical assignments, among other benefits.
Although deep increases will allow buildings to grow vertically, their height will be limited to 24 meters because this area is close to the upcoming Noida Airport, Yeida Arun VIR Singh’s chief executive said.
Yeida’s decision to allow more land use to provide excellence over two other authorities – Noida and Greater Noida.
Yeida, officials said, was planning to strengthen sectors 28 to develop data centers and other facilities and have ordered 100 hectares at first.
The size of the plot to be offered will vary between 5 and 10 hectares.
“While incentives tend to be the same for data centers operating from Noida, Greater Noida and other parts of the country, the use of higher plot areas will definitely attract the company to the Yamuna Expressway area,” Singh said.
Over the past two years, Noida and Greater Noida have attracted several domestic and international players.
Adani Group and Hiranandani have taken plots in cities to establish data centers.
