NEW DELHI: Google, Facebook, WhatsApp have shared information about IT ministry according to need of administration’s new social networking principles, reported news agency PTI quoting resources.
But, Twitter isn’t after new rules, ” it stated.
“Twitter hasn’t delivered information of compliance officer to IT ministry also called a lawyer as grievance officer,” PTI resources stated.
The authorities had requested all big social networking platforms to notify it on the status of compliance with all the newest electronic principles that came into force early nowadays.
Twitter on Thursday accused the authorities of”dangerous overreach that’s inconsistent with open, democratic principles”, also alleged that it’s been compelled to”withhold” (obstruct tweets from India) parts of”valid free speech” on its stage over worries around the protection of its workers and hazards of penalties.
