New Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai Meets PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi: Head of the Minist of Karnataka Baru Basavaraj Bommai called Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday and held talks for almost an hour.
Bommai, who at his first visit to Delhi after becoming a minister, met Modi at his residence here.
Tweeting about the meeting, Modi said, “Met cm from Karnataka Shri @bsbommai ji today.
Delivering the best hope when he began a new journey for the progress of Karnataka.
Make sure full support for the development of Karnataka.” Previously on that day, Bommai summoned Interior Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Pralhad Military Minister Joshi and Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
He also held lunch for parliamentarians from the state at Ashoka Hotel.
Bommai, who was chosen as the new leader of the BJP Legislative Party on Tuesday, took part in the resignation of B Yediyurappa, vowed the main minister on Wednesday.
