T’puram: KSRTC became Kerala’s own manufacturer, lawfully and really, on Wednesday.
Trade marks registry accredited the logo, the abbreviation KSRTC, emblem and the title Aanavandi will belong to Kerala Road Transport company.
Karnataka had contributed a rude shock to Kerala at 2014 as it delivered a note saying that Kerala should quit using the title KSRTC.
Karnataka had enrolled and won possession over KSRTC brand using all the Gandaberunda pub (two-headed mythical bird) from 2014.
Kerala subsequently filed an appeal using the trade marks .
Karnataka had sent a communication to Kerala providing evidence and certification issued in its own favor and asked Kerala to not use the exact name KSRTC anymore.
Former KSRTC MD Antony Chacko began a legal battle to win the newest name for Kerala.
KSRTC Union Antony Raju explained this has been an honour to KSRTC and all officials that worked for this particular deserve praise.
“The foundation of KSRTC is interwoven with the lives of these folks.
KSRTC has left its own imprint in theatre, literature and civilization,” said Raju.
KSRTC MD Biju Prabhakar stated that the fame out of trade mark registry is a significant boost to Kerala road transportation corporation that’s on a course of resurrection.
He explained that note will be transmitted to Karnataka mentioning the purchase.
