Jaipur: The latest report by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) for accidents of death and suicide has revealed an increase in suicide cases in the state of last year.

According to NCRB, overall death due to an accident on the road in 2020 recorded a decline compared to 2019.
The country recorded 23,478 cases of road accidents in 2019, while 19,121 accidents were witnessed by 2020.

NCRB’s findings for 2020 revealed that Rajasthan reported 5,658 suicide last year, compared with 4,531 cases in 2019.
The country reported 81 suicide where people consumed sleeping pills, 465 suicide by drowning, 21 own shots while consuming 842 poisons for suicide.
NCRB’s findings have shown that the state records 36 deaths in 15 cases under the mob or family suicide.
