New Orleans Jazz Fest was canceled again because of Covid-19

New Orleans: With the case of Covid-19 new wavy in Louisiana, the New Orleans Jazz Heritage Festival will not return this year, after all, said the Sunday organizer.
This festival, which is traditionally held in the spring, has been scheduled to run 8-10 October and 15-17 this year after being canceled last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
But the organizer citizes the “current exponential growth” of the new Covid-19 case in the city and region, as well as an ongoing public health emergency, in announcing that this festival will not occur according to plan.
“We are now looking forward to the following spring, when we will present the traditional time period,” said the organizer in the news release, adding that next year was April 29 – May 8.
Ticketholders for both weeks of the festival will receive this email.

Jazz Fest celebrates Indigenous Music and New Orleans and Louisiana culture.
Music includes almost every style imaginable: Blues, Gospels, Cajun, Zydeco, Afro-Caribbean, People, Latin, Rock, Rap, Contemporary and Traditional Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, and everything in between.
It was held in a fair land competition, where several stages were established for fans to gather inside and around.
