New Delhi: Delhi reported 28.867 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours, registering cases of the highest day since the beginning of the Pandemic, in accordance with the Delhi government on Thursday.
Previously on April 20 last year, 28,395 cases were registered, which were previously the highest single-day cases in the national capital.
According to the bulletin provided by the government, the level of participants has increased to 29.21 percent.
A total of 98,832 samples were tested for the past 24 hours.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases in Delhi has reached 16,46,583.
In the national capital, 22,121 people recovered from infection for the past 24 hours, taking a total recovery to 15.27,152.
Thirty people lost their lives with deadly viruses for the past 24 hours.
Toll deaths from diseases in the national capital stand at 25,271.
At present there are 94,160 cases of Covid-19 active in Delhi, where 62,324 patients are in house isolation.
At present, there are 23,997 active detention zones in the national capital.
According to the bulletin, 2,424 patients currently being hospitalized, where 55 patients allegedly infected with Covid-19 while 2,369 confirmed the Covid-19 case.
Of the 2,369 Covid-19 cases confirmed, 2,080 came from the national capital while 289 came from outside.
At present, 768 patients in oxygen support, 628 are in the ICU.

Bulletin said that 84.29 percent of the 15,433 beds were above the dedicated Covid-19 hospital in Delhi empty.
Only 2,424 beds are occupied.
At the Covid-19 treatment center, the bed was 87.92 percent empty, with only 559 of 4,626 beds occupied.
At the Covid-19 Health Center, 74.05 percent blank beds.
Only 41 of 158 beds in these health centers are occupied.
During the last 24 hours, 1.63,851 total doses of Covid-19 vaccination were managed.
From here, 94,838 was the first dose while 45,322 people received their second dose.
A total of 23,691 preventive doses are given to health workers, frontline workers, senior citizens for the last 24 hours.
In Delhi, a total of 65,128 preventive doses have been given.
As many as 50,048 beneficiaries aged 15-17 were given the first dose of their Covid-19 vaccination for the past 24 hours, taking a cumulative amount of the beneficiaries to 4,02,345.
As many as 2,80,71,935 vaccination doses have been managed in Delhi, where 1.62.13,267 various accepts have received their first dose while 1.17.93.540 beneficiaries have been given their second dose.
