Gurgaon: MCG plans to develop in land that is not used in the new sector and new region that has been recently added to its jurisdiction.
Officials said the commissioner had directed the corporate planning and income department to first identify the land of the civic body under his jurisdiction, limiting it, placing the ownership board and then eliminating encroachment, if any.
“And so the process is complete, we will develop a wise plan to build public infrastructure on the ground.
This is the preliminary phase of the exercise,” said the Senior MCG official to Ti.
“For example, if the new sector or village requires a community or school center, we will plan to make this infrastructure on the MCG land available in the area.
We can always find ways to use the land of MCG to add to our generation of income,” he added.
