New sector work is divided to avoid tangled jurisdiction

Gurgaon: After grants about the jurisdiction of development work in the new sector, the role of Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) and the authorities of development divided on Tuesday at the meeting carried out by DS Desi, the main secretary for CM, at the PWD Guest House in the city.
HSVP will continue with ongoing projects and after completing them to their respective development authorities, while the Autourity of Metropolitan Gurugram (GMDA) and Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA) will take projects that have not started.
GMDA will also develop a sewerage and drainage system.
The meeting was attended by the Main Secretary of the City and Planning State Ak Singh, City Director and Planning of State K Pandurang, Head of the HSVP Administrator Ajit Balaji Joshi, CEO of GMDA Sudhir Rajpal, HSVP Administrator (Gurgaon) Jitender Yadav and others.
Litigation challenges land acquisition, delayed encroachment and litigation identified as the main obstacle to delays in the development of civil infrastructure in the new sector of Gurgaon and Faridabad.
“Now, the main road and water masters will be developed by development authorities in the new sector in Gurgaon and Faridabad.
Ongoing sewerage and drainage work will be resolved by HSVP,” said an official.
In accordance with understanding, the construction of the main road and water masters in sector 58 to 115 in Gurgaon will be transferred to GMDA by HSVP.
Sewerage and drainage jobs have been started by HSVP in most sectors, so HSVP will solve it before submitting to GMDA.
“The aim is to bring clarity about the division of work and accelerate the development of civil infrastructure in the new sector of Gurgaon and Faridabad,” said a senior government official.
The statement released by the government said the new sewerage processing plant would be developed in sector 107.
For GMDA will prepare a proposal.
