New session at varsities, Schools from 2nd week of Sept

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday announced the new academic session at universities and technical and higher education institutions throughout the nation will commence from the second week of September.
At an interview with officials on Sunday,” Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated all associations must declare the results from August 31 to ensure another session could begin in the next week of September.
The CM said assessments must be conducted for pupils registered in classes related to technical instruction.

Placing speculation concerning cancellation of assessments to break, secretary, specialized instruction, Alok Kumar tweeted,”Govt has chosen to hold final year examinations of students under specialized education section at 3rd week of July.
Apart from closing year, examinations will occur in the past week of July.
It’ll be objective type and internet (sic).”
Government officials stated the online exams would serve a double function.
On the 1 hand, it might assess the spread of Covid-19 instances, although on the flip side, it might avoid derailment of this academic session.
Secretary, Board of Technical Education, Rashmi Sonkar said trainings for internet assessments for polytechnic students had previously begun.
“But, the syllabus remains faulty.
Tests will be held when the syllabus is finished,” she explained.
Vice-chancellor of Dr.
APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) Prof Vinay Kumar Pathak stated,”Online exams can help pupils who don’t remain in UP.
Since students need to look on the internet, they’re able to do this from their houses.”
At least 2.5 lakh students are enrolled in a variety of classes in 750 schools correlated with AKTU.
The other 2.5 lakh students are registered in 1,372 polytechnics for diploma classes throughout the country.
