Prayagraj: After new guidelines issued by the state authorities in terms of reimbursement to the next of kin of the authorities servants that contracted Covid-19 when doing Panchayat survey obligations and ended up losing their own lives, the district government has now requested the kin of these people to apply afresh to the reimbursement in line with the new criteria.
This moment the head of this section (in which the deceased had been used ) will want to support the obligation slip and the exact same will need to be countersigned by the chief medical officer (CMO), supporting the simple fact that the said worker has died due to Covid.
This record will have to be deposited into the district government.
The ADM (town ) was made the nodal officer for this particular procedure, educated officials.
Throughout the election responsibility performed by the workers of the state authorities in April and May, both weeks once the pandemic was in its peak, there were also many workers that got contaminated by Covid, and a number of them actually succumbed to this.
Afterwards, once the state government requested that the relatives of the deceased workers to submit the claims of obtaining reimbursement, households of 74 workers of this district had implemented.
Out of them, files of 42 workers were whole in every facet.
But during the examination by the district government officials, none of these claims were accepted.
That is because based on the previous principles, ex-gratia payment might be granted only if the worker expired either on duty or during travel to and in the area of duty.
On the other hand, the new rules issued by the state authorities said that the kin of employees who contracted Covid about UP panchayat election obligation and died after hitting home, are also qualified for ex-gratia reimbursement, even when death happened 30 days following the day of obligation.
The government also has announced that the decision to provide settlement of Rs 30 lakh each to the kin of such an individual.
But today all previous programs stand invalid.
The relatives need to submit fresh programs.
The relatives of the deceased are requested to deposit files including certification of election responsibility, report of Covid disease and death certification.
Each of the forms need to be filed by the next of kin of their personnel to the mind of the section where they had been submitted.
When the head of this department forward the promise, it is going to be signed with the CMO.
Next, the files will be deposited into ADM (town ).
“Folks should submit the files whenever you can,” explained ADM (town ) Ashok Kumar Kanaujia.
