NEW DELHI: Government workers of the amount of all under-secretary and over will be asked to attend office on all working days from Wednesday, according to revised attendance standards issued by the division of personnel and coaching (DoPT) in perspective of enhancing Covid-19 position in the nation.
A workplace memorandum issued by DoPT on Monday stated 50% personnel under the amount of under-secretary degree will have to attend office on any day, using timings staggered to prevent overcrowding, also as the remaining 50% will operate at home.
These standards, which DoPT explained were revisited as the amount of Covid instances and positivity speed had decreased substantially, would be effective from June 16 to June 30.
Pregnant women workers and people with disabilities may have to be exempt by being physically existing in office but will be asked to work at home.
The officers and personnel who attend workplace will have to follow along with staggered timings, along with three proposed changes from 9 am to 5.30 pm, and 9.30 am to 6 pm and 10 am to 6.30 pm.
All employees living in containment zones will likely be exempt from coming back to office until the containment zone remains denotified.
Individuals working from home needs to be accessible on phone or other electronic way of communicating whatsoever times.
Meetings, so much as you can, will likely continue to be run through video-conferencing mode.
