New Delhi: Some ministers have been assigned to make presentations before their colleagues on how to improve efficiency in the workplace and also share best practices.
The first presentation was made by Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday, where all ministers in the government of Narendra Modi were physically present.
The source said PM Narendra Modi asked all ministers to learn from each other and descend to earth while dealing with people and problems.
The source says there will be half a dozen such interactions, which mode is called “Shivir Chivirs”.
Toi has learned that PM is likely to hold a meeting of all the Secretary of the Central Government Department on Saturday.
“This initiative is to share the best practices among the ministers considering there are many new faces in the Council of Ministers.
The need to play with the State ministers to take greater responsibility is one of the government’s focus.

The source added that the ministers had been asked to respond to letters and VIP references immediately.
Recently, the Cabinet Secretary also directed all ministries to clear the VIP reference backlog within a month.
Just before the last cabinet reshuffle, PM had asked the senior minister to improve monitoring their work, listening to all stakeholders before making decisions and keeping their ears on the ground.
