Pune: New terminal buildings under construction from Pune airport will be ready in January next year, airport source said.
The newly proposed date is a delay for almost five months from the date of completion of the beginning of August this year.
“More than 68 percent of the work has been completed and we must see the new terminal building to be operational in January next year,” said an airport official without mentioning the reason for delays.
However, the source said that once the building prepared, it would need permission and approval needed from DGCA and other flight bosses such as BCA.
“The work on the 415 Crore RS project is active in the full swing now.
As with the multilevel parking project, it must be prepared for the initial operation in April this year even when work in the skywalk that connects parking to the terminal building that comes out.
