Vadodara: A newborn boy was found abandoned near the drain in Chhani on Monday.
Some people passed – heard the baby wailed on the Chhani Channel road and told the police.
Police Fatehgunj has ordered an unknown person for leaving a baby after complaints submitted by Paresh Muniya, a tempo driver, who called the police to the place.
Muniya told the police that he saw the crowd gathered near the drainage line while passing the Chhani Canal road on Monday.
He saw the baby boy wrapped a piece of cloth and tidied the pain from the ant bites and immediately called the police control room.
The baby rushed to the SSG hospital for treatment and the police had begun to investigate and also examined the CCTV footage area to track his parents.
