LONDON: Newcastle hopes to appoint Villarreal Boss Unai Emery as their new manager on weekends, according to a broad report on Tuesday.
The former Arsenal manager will be on the touchline for the Villarreal Champions League match against the Swiss player young player on Tuesday.
The BBC said the new Newcastle was aimed at hiring EMERY on time for Saturday’s trip to Brighton.
Compensation agreement worth £ 6 million ($ 8 million) was reportedly negotiated to free the emery of the rest of his contract.
Newcastle was taken over by the consortium led by Saudi Sovereign wealth funds last month and had ambition to re-create the success of Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, all of which were supported by rich foreign investors.

Emery led Villarreal to their first main trophy last season, beating Manchester United to lift the European league in May.
But the previous spell in England did not succeed when he was fired earlier to the second season when Arsene Wenger’s successor at Arsenal.
The 49-year-old also won the trophy in Sevilla and PSG, but had a little experience against degradation and his English orders criticized during his time at Arsenal.
