AHMEDABAD: The following six months will be critical for Ahmedabad district management because it’s engaged in updating infrastructure, teaching hospital personnel to deal with paediatric cases and leaving nothing to chance.
A number of 253 beds at 20 hospitals can focus to paediatric circumstances.
These comprise two hospitals at Bavla, five hospitals per year in Dholka and Daskroi, three hospitals at Sanand, four at Viramgam along with a hospital at Mandal taluka.
Overall, 50 ventilators and 50 BiPAP machines have been provisioned together with mobile X-Ray machines for every one of the taluka clinical circle.
A panel of 14 paediatric specialists will be attending cases, such as cases making physicians apprehensive such as the multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C).
These physicians will be aided by 36 AYUSH physicians which have been line-listed and will be educated in fundamentals.
“Another critical task besides infrastructure is our paramedics will be educated by both kid specialists to take care of kids with Covid,” states DDO, Ahmedabad, Arun Mahesh Babu.
He adds,”Since children can not be left alone and want either of their parents, it’s essential that a facility with sufficient space is available, and it can be an issue for people,” clarifies Babu.
