Letter: Police arrested a truck driver on Thursday because of alleged rashrient driving and caused damage to the rs of 50 lakh Rs to the flyover bridge at Ichhapore Cross Road.
The truck, carrying a container weighed around 250 tons, upside down by getting off the flyover.
Police arrested Kishore Namdev Jadav to accuse driving a rash and damaged public property.
The incident took place on July 25 and a violation was registered after the complainant approached the police.
The complaint was submitted by Sanjay Chaudhary, an official of the National Highways Authority (NHAI), at the Ichhapore police station.
In his complaint, Chaudhary alleged that the defendant carried cargo that was too large and overweight.
Because the rash that pushed the truck overturned caused damage to the bridge bridge structure.
Damage to the P7 and P8 bridge deck slabs is estimated at around Rs 50 Lakh.
“The driver told the police that he did not realize how the truck was upside down.
He claimed that he was driving and when the truck began to fall and reverse for unknown reasons,” said a police officer at the Ichhapore police station.

The container was loaded on two trailers attached to the truck and it must be transported to Visakhapatnam.
