Kanpur: National Highway Authority (NHAI) has issued a tender for the Kanpur-Lucknow toll road project.
According to Sumber Nhai, 14 construction agents were scanned as soon as the tender was uploaded on the website.
Tender will open on October 15.
Nhai has issued a deadline for its officials to complete the construction agency within 45 days.
The contract will be provided by opening technical and financial offers.
After that, NHAI will sign the MoU and the construction agency is expected to start work in 150 days from the date of signing the MoU.
The work on the project is likely to begin before the assembly selection above, the source said.
NHAI has decided to build a toll road in the hybrid immunity model where the central government will provide 40 percent of the money to the agency in four parts while the remaining amounts will be paid in 20 years.
Until then, the agency must maintain toll road maintenance work.
NHAI has decided to give a contract to the construction agency who will be able to obtain a loan of Rs 2,500 Crore from the Bank.
This will be the first toll road above which will be associated with the Lucknow Ring Road to minimize the traffic load on the main road.
NHAI will obtain land for this project from 31 Unnao villages and 11 Lucknow villages.
Around the 4,500 crore Hospital will be spent in the construction and RS 900 Crore in land acquisition, the sources are said further.
“Nhai has issued a tender to be opened on October 15.
We will ensure that the work on the project begins before the upper assembly selection.
Almost all formalities have been completed.
