Nhai to get land for cloverleaf e-way

Gurgaon: Corporation of the City of Gurugram (MCG) finally initiated the process to submit to the National Highway Authority (NHAI) in about 0.3 hectares of land needed for the construction of clover cliffs near Kheri Daula, an important intersection on the Dwarka Expressway.
Nhai officials said the Civic’s body had delayed the surrender of land for more than three years.
With MCG now inviting NHAI to take over the land and start construction work, the highway authority said it aims to complete the intersection in a year.
It has missed the revised deadline for December 2020 due to the delay in surrender of land.
Speaking to Toi, a senior Nhai official said they received a letter from MCG on Saturday which stated that a temple on the ground would be completely moved in the next few days.
“We are happy with the development because we have pursued this problem since 2018 and wasted a lot of time and resources in the process.
After the temple is shifted, we will start a construction work from the flyover.
It should take us about a year to complete the structure, provided we don’t face things And jobs that cannot be avoided are not stopped for any reason, “the official said.
In the letter, which MCG was sent on Friday, the corporation said he had cleared all obstacles on the 0.3 hectare takeover road near the village of Kheri Daula.
The corporation told Nhai that while cremated land shifted earlier this year, Shani Temple was also shifting to alternative sites, and after this, no matter about the construction of a hoe gorge would wait for MCG.
“One Temple’s room was still there and people urged us not to delete it until Janmashtami.
It will also be cleaned on Tuesday, and NHAI can then take over the land.
With this, the MCG has fulfilled all its commitments and facilitated the relocation of temples and Shani’s cremation is blocking the Dwarka toll road, “said a senior MCG official.
As part of the 4 Dwarka Expressway package, the cloverleaf interchange will be built on 14 hectares of land, where NHAI already has around 13 hectares.
It will connect the toll road to the other side of Gurgaon through the South Peripheral Road and Golf Road.
This will be a two-level intersection where the left turn will be handled by Slip Roads.
This will provide an alternative route to Indira Gandhi International Airport, which is currently more than 17 km through NH-8.
Residents of new sectors also welcomed their steps, said the intersection would give them help from paying toll in Kheri Daula.
“The handover of the land was waiting for a very long time.
MLA Rakesh Daultabad helped us get executed takeovers.
Nhai must ask the contractor to complete this stretch in the existing timeline,” said Pragakar Sahay, a former Secretary of the Dwarka Expressway Welfare Association.
