New Delhi: Union Health Authority on Friday said the Cowin portal used for the Covid vaccination process does not allow a lot of registration to one Aadhaar ID.
Clarification of participating claims by a 84-year-old man in Madhepura he had taken 11 Covid vaccine shots.
“As a record in Cowin, only one person named Brahmdeo Mandal has been vaccinated, it is also with a unique aadhaar number.
Cowin does not allow the same ID usage for several beneficiaries,” Secretary of the National Health Mission and additional mission, Vikas Sheel, tweeted on Friday.
Mandal, who claimed to have recorded the date and time of all 11 Jab, said he took his first shot in Purinii PHC on February 13, 2021.
On September 24, he claimed to have taken the vaccine nine times and the latest JAD January 4 this year.
“I took third jab on May 19 on June 16, fifth on July 24 and the tenth jab of Sdh Kahalgaon.
I have received 11 Covid vaccines so far,” Mandal had claimed, added he did not fall ill since he began.
