Ranchi: Unlimited strikes called by Contractual Workers of the National Health Mission State Unit (NHM) entered its sixth day on Sauriday, which leads to cancellations / delays in several reviews of various programs run by NHM.
According to the source of the Ministry of Health, Review several cells, including PCPNDT, NGOs, NPPC mental illness and hepatitis disease, called in the last five days due to strikes.
“We were told by whatsapp message that the review meeting was summoned by our administrative officer.
Most of the work handled by contractual employees and senior officials could not finish the meeting without their assistance so that it was called,” said a contractual employee at the NHM Central Office.
MD NHM Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh said, “We have postponed meetings because our staff members want to vacation remember Durga Puja.
There is no new schedule completed.” The strike has spread to the districts now when contractual employees from several districts have come to Ranchi to attend meeting.
More than 180 contractual employees protested the sudden termination of a senior colleague and alleged abuse by senior officials.
Protesters demand the implementation of HR policy with direct effects.

However, we will not cancel the termination of the employee service issued from his post.” The protesters said they would continue their strike until all their demands were fulfilled.
