Patna: In a great success, the National Investigation Agency arrested Haji Salim, alleged one of the recruiters of the Pakistani Lashkar-e-Taiba terror organization in India from Kairana in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh on Friday in the case of Blast Parcel Darbhanga.
Sources said the son of Salim Kafil had also been arrested and both were taken to Patna through the road by the Premier Agency for production before the Special Court on Saturday.
“Yes, the duo is scheduled to be produced in front of the Nia Court in Patna,” said the source of agency.
Both were arrested by other Nia teams as soon as a team managed to produce Mohammad Nasir Khan and his brother Imran Khan in front of the Special Court in Patna on Friday after arresting them from Hyderabad with the Parcel Blast which took place at Darbhanga Railway Station on June 17.
The source said that until now the investigation had been released that it was Salim who had recruited Nasir on the terror network and had facilitated his visit to Pakistan by Mari.
“It was also revealed Salim himself visited Pakistan 12 times and was involved in recruiting youth for terrorist organizations in India.
He also fined more than Rs 1.5 lakh to Nasir and Imran to produce explosives and send it into the parcel to Darbhanga from Secunderabad, “A source said.
The source said it was Salim and Cafil who was first made for coughing their names behind the blast parcel.
“Salim told Nia about Nasir and Imran.
Both were arrested after that Nia pounded the daughters again,” said the National Police Source.
