MUMBAI: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday arrested two people, such as a confidant of a retired inspector as part of their probe to the planting of explosives at a Scorpio close industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s home at Carmichael Road and after murder of Scorpio proprietor Mansukh Hiran.
Santosh Shellar along with Anand Jadhav are inhabitants of Kurar village at Malad.
Resources stated that Tavera that NIA had captured past month goes to Shellar, a confidant of a former policeman famous for experience killings.
With this arrest, the complete amount of accused detained in case touched seven.
NIA is probing the planting of gelatine sticks out Ambani’s home on February 25 and following murder of Scorpio proprietor Mansukh about March 5.
An NIA court remanded them to police custody until June 21.
NIA sources stated they need to face the duo with detained authorities inspector Sunil Mane at Taloja prison.
Mane along with Sachin Waze needed on March 4 predicted Mansukh into Ghodbunder Road at Thane, posing as Agency Tawde, shot him into a resort and handed him to the natives.
NIA also stumbled upon CCTV footage of both detained accused carrying Mansukh’s custody.
NIA supposes Mansukh was passed to Shellar and Jadhav.
Shellar subsequently took Mansukh from the Tavera into an unknown place and strangled himbefore throwing him Thane creek.
On March 5, authorities retrieved Mansukh’s body at a creek.
