Kolkata: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested the former Director of Corporate Implementation and Natural Resource Resources based on Jharkhand, from his residence in Salt Lake on the eastern outskirts of Kolkata on Tuesday for allegedly funding militant clothes.

After taking over this case in 2018, the National Agency learned that Agarwal was suspected of paying Rs 200 per tonne of coal to transportation which allegedly transferred money to TPC members in the village committee to ensure a fine hallway for its trucks.
TPC is used to operate in the Area of ​​the Amrapali-Magadh project in Central Coalfield Ltd and extort employers.
Also alleged that Agarwal helped TPC members, including regional commanders and Bindeswar Ganjhu, to raise funds for militant clothing.
