New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said Tuesday that he had captured the alleged Fake Indian currency operations (FICN), desired in the case of 2019, from Kolkata in West Bengal.
The old 34-year-old Islam was arrested on Monday and was produced before the Special Nia Court in Kolkata and the transit delivery was taken on further production before Lucknow Court, a Federal Spokesman Agency said Tuesday.
The agency said Islam, Malda district residents in West Bengal, was sought in connection with the recovery case of “high-quality” in December, having a total nominal value of Rs 2,49,500.
Recovery was influenced in the Ghaziabad District by the Anti-Terrorist squad Uttar Pradesh from a man named Mohammad Murad Alam, said the spokesman.
Nia took over this case in February 2020 and then filed a chargesheet against three accused of nature, natural tausif and Shahnawaj Ansari.
“All who were accused of being a member of the FICN racket where the fake currency came from across the Bangladesh border.
Murad Alam has accepted the consignment of FICN from natural Tausif and has brought the consignment to accuse Ansari,” a spokesman said in a statement issued here.
The probe was found, the spokesman claimed that FICN shipments were supplied to natural devia by Islam which had “cross-border contacts” in Bangladesh from where he used to get FICN.
