New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday conducted a raid on Kashmir in connection with the case of circulating propaganda online by Banned Terror Group Isis.
Probe agents have arrested several people including the Chairman of the Darul Uloom (Islamic Seminary) who left with the name ‘Sirajul Uloom’ in connection with this case.
“The Nia Team invads Darul Uloom ‘Sirajul Uloom’ in Dalal Mohalla Nawabazar Srinagar in the city center and seizes several documents containing office notes and laptops,” said the source.
Raid in Srinagar was followed by similar actions from Nia in Pushroo Village, Sunsooma, and Achabal in South Kashmir.
Isis terrorists operate from various conflict zones together with ISIS cadres in India, assuming Pseudo’s online identity, has created a network where ISIS related propaganda material is disseminated to radically and recruited members into its folds.
