SRINAGAR: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday conducted a search in 56 locations in 14 of the 20 Jammu and Kashmir districts for members of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JEI) related to the case of terror funding.
Raids together by Nia together with the police and CRPF conducted in Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora, AnanNag, Shopdam, Pulwama, Kulgam, Roas, Doda, Kishtwar and Rajouri in Division.
“A case was registered by Nia on February 5, 2021 in pursuing order from the Ministry of Home Affairs relating to separatist and separatist Jei activities, associations that violated the law under the UU UU (P), even after the prospective on February 28, 2019,” said That spokesman.
