Nida’s first waste plants to treat 400 tons / day

Greater Noida: Trommel, scanning machines and seller bridges are operational at the Dump Lakhnawali website on Tuesday where more than 3 lats metric tons of inheritance waste collected so far will be discarded.
This is the first city remediation factory where the goal is to clean 400 mts waste per day.
Greater Noida currently produces around 250 mts waste every day and the authority aims to cleanse inheritance waste in two years.
For this, RS 23 Crore contract was given last month to the Antony Lara Enviro Solutions Consortium Pvt Ltd and AG Enviro Infra Projects Pvt Ltd.
The trucking machine consisting of a perforated cylinder drum placed at an elevated feed angle is a mechanical screening machine used to separate wet and dry waste materials.
Other machines deployed on this site include conveyor belts and weighing machines.
On Tuesday, Chandra Profound Acoo inaugurated the plant.
He said, “For sustainable urban development, it is necessary to dispose of city waste in a scientific way.
With this plant, we aim to reduce 50% of total waste produced in the city and the remaining 50% will be recycled.” Salil Yadav, Deputy General Manager Gnida, said, “When we conducted a trial earlier last month, we were waiting for a monsoon to start the work of the waste remediation.
Today we have started operations at the initial stage and hope to increase capacity depending on weather conditions in the coming days.
The factory will restore 400 mt waste per day.
“According to CEO of Gnida Narendra Bhoooshan, while inheritance waste will be repaired, the remaining plastic disassembly and construction waste will be separated and sent to a recycled plant where plastic waste will be recycled to make fuel and board multi-layer including chairs, benches, tree guards etc.
While the construction and dismantling waste will be used to build roads and fill holes.
