Gurgaon: Police on Friday night arrested four more people in connection with a feathers’ shooting at the residence of former Sarpanch Manesar’s village at night Diwali who left four dead and two men, including an eight-year-old boy, injured.
Previously five men were held and three teenagers were detained for crime.
The mastermind behind the crime is still large.
Around 8pm on November 4, around 8-10 men broke through the house of the former Gopal Sarpanch in Kasan Manesar Village and shot indiscriminately in his family members who did Lakshmi Puja.
While the two sons had died in that place, two injured relatives died during treatment later.
The shooting, the police said, was the fall of the hostility between the two families in the village came from 2007.
That year, two gopal and relative sons were shot dead, a village resident.
The two sons were handed over for life imprisonment.
A few years ago, when they came out with guarantees, Yogender, Manoj’s brother, hatched a conspiracy to kill them.
