UDHAGAMANDALAM: On Sunday, the Nilgiris reported 422 fresh instances of Covid-19, taking the tally into 25,558.
Together with 517 patients discharged the afternoon, 21, 821 patients have recovered up to now from the area.
The district also has reported three fatalities, including 2 girls, on the afternoon taking the toll on 135.
The deaths have been reported by Ooty and Coonoor blocks.
Of the busy instances numbering 3,602, approximately 1500 are retained under house quarantine along with the remaining examples are treated in various government facilities apart from Covid maintenance centres.
