Udhagamandalam: The Nilgiris captured its highest-ever single-day spike in Covid-19 instances on Sunday, when 538 individuals were tested positive for the virus, even taking the tally into 18,491, where 3,626 are busy instances.
Even the Covid-19 toll also taken around 88 with six patients chained to this virus.
Five of those six dead were guys aged between 43 and 70 decades.
With 387 patients becoming discharged from several therapy centers on the afternoon, the amount of recovered patients has become around 14,777 from the mountain retreat.
