Udhagamandalam: Nilgiris sustains the country in a vaccination drive by analyzing 61% of the population that meets the requirements with the first or second dose.
According to the J innocent Divya District collector, Nilgiris has been inoculating 3.55 lakh from a population that meets 5.8 lakh requirements for vaccination.
At least one lakh of them has received a vaccine dose.
“We will soon become a vaccinated district and drive vaccination is being carried out seriously.
We are in front of other districts in the state in the number of people emptying the bracket.
We have been inoculating 99% of Pascanate and 92% of Antenatal Mothers,” he said.
Divya said the Minister of Health had a day ago asked about the dosage needed to vaccinate the entire population that qualified in the district.

Sponsors will facilitate two more camps in Ooty, start Tuesday.
