NIOS cancels Class 12 Examinations in Perspective of Covid-19

NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has cancelled Its Own Class 12 Evaluation in view of This Covid-19 pandemic, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal’Nishank’ Declared on Friday.

“Maintaining the security and safety of our pupils on stage, NIOS cancels class 12 assessments.
Students will be assessed according to objective standards to be declared shortly.
This will help around 1.75 lakhs pupils,” the ministry tweeted.
Based on S T Prasad, Director (Assessment, NIOS), pupils that are unsatisfied with the appraisal is going to be granted the choice to appear at a public exam or a On-Demand Examination (ODE) as soon as the situation gets conducive.

“In these conditions, the effect of the worried pupil in public exams or ODE is going to probably be treated as final,” he explained.
