The 12-year-old death in Kozhikode has caused Nipah to scare.
While health authorities take all steps to bite it from the start, this is what we must know about infection.

The first case was reported on May 2, 2018 and the outbreak was contained and declared higher on June 10, 2018 * it was the third outbreak in India, with the previous one that occurred in 2001 (45 deaths) and 2007 (5 deaths) in West Bengal 2019 * The 23-year-old student tested a positive virus on June 4, 2019 in Ernakulam.
Students areolated and infections are stopped on track without one death 2021 * A 12-year-old boy in Kozhikode was treated on September 1 with Nipah symptoms died on Sunday morning.
The presence of the Nipah virus was confirmed in the sample * 20 people who had come into contact with the boy, including two health workers, with symptoms similar to nipah under the observation steps taken * Nipah’s call center and the predicted control room had been determined by the Government * NIV, Pune was asked to establish a test center in Kozhikode.
